1. Do protection devices comply with pump and motor amp ratings?
2. (Single Phase Only) Starting capacitors installed?
3. Are all electrical conduits & panel entry connections sealed/closed tight?
4. Is the wiring and terminal connections tight and secure?
5. Does the panel have any visible defects or damage?
6. Is the interior of the panel dry?
7. Proper wiring connected to controller?
8. Circuit breakers operational?
9. Float switches installed away from turbulence?

1. Check valves and shut-off valves installed in correct location?
2. Valves set in open position?
3. Access cover/hatch installed correctly?
4. Access opening large enough for pump removal?
5. Any damage to wet well, rim flange, or cover?
6. Basin clear and free of foreign debris?
7. Inlets cored and sealed?
7. START-UP — ALL PUMPS
1. Supply voltage / phase / frequency matches nameplate?
2. Shaft turns freely?
3. Direction of rotation verified for 3Ø motors?
4. Debris in piping or wet well?
5. Debris removed or pumped in your presence?
6. Pump case / wet well filled with liquid before start-up?
7. Piping properly supported?
8. Are the pumps aligned and secured in place?
8. SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS
1. Are guide rails level / plumb?
2. Are BAF and guide rails level and installed properly?
3. Pumps seated on discharge properly?
4. Pumps fully submerged during operation?
9. OPERATIONAL CHECKS
1. Is there noise or vibration present?
2. Does check valve operate properly?
3. Is system free of leaks?
4. Does system appear to operate at design flow rate?
